Sign of the Week...ALLIGATOR

This week's Sign of the Week teaches you the American Sign Language sign for ALLIGATOR.

To produce this ASL sign, two clawed "5" handshapes move up and down, making a chomping motion.

Show this sign to your little one when you are reading books about alligators or singing songs that have the word alligator in them. Your alligator can be happy or scary depending on your facial expression when you make the sign!

Watch this wee video showing the ASL sign for "ALLIGATOR" and sign the word together with your at least three times while watching...chomp! chomp!
