Thank you! How do I respond in ASL?

by Karen Cairns

When we use American Sign Language (ASL) with babies and young children our intention is to aide in language development, having said that as a WeeHands instructor we pride ourselves in educating parents on Deaf Culture. In Deaf Culture there is no ASL expression for "You're welcome" in response to "Thank you".

Some people will use the sign for "sure", "thank you", "fine", "good"...
