Sign of the Week...POTTY

ASL - Potty - baby sign language - WeeHands
This week's Sign of the Week poster teaches an important sign...the sign for POTTY! It's also the American Sign Language sign for TOILET.

To make this ASL sign, hold a T handshape at about shoulder level and shake your hand in small motions. The more urgent the need to go...the more urgently your hand is shaken!

Show this sign to your little one when you are potty training and before/during/after using the potty for any reason. Show the sign when you are going to use the potty, when your little one is using it or when anyone else at home is doing the same.
