WeeHands in your own Home

Sara Bingham, WeeHands Founder & author of The Baby Signing Book, is now offering live one-on-one WeeHands baby sign language link to Skype for more informationclasses in your home.  This class won't take the place of a WeeHands class in your community with a qualified WeeHands Instructor and local moms and dads, but we know that our classes are not everywhere and getting out is sometimes hard for a new parent.

Sara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Carleton University.  Sara is a graduate of Georgian College's Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA) program and currently teaches within Durham College's CDA program.  She has been studying American Sign Language since 1992 and has worked with children with communicative disorders since 1994.

WeeHands in Woodville

Located in Ontario's beautiful Kawartha Lakes region, the community of Woodville will soon be hosting their own WeeHands classes!  We've welcoming Laurie Teel as well to the WeeHands' teaching team!

Laurie has first-hand experience in the Deaf world having worked in a small school for the Deaf in Puerto Rico for 7 years. During her time there she also taught English as a Second Language paired with American Sign Language to hearing Puerto Rican children.

More recently, Laurie has worked for the Trillium Lakelands District School Board as a communication facilitator/interpreter for high school Deaf students. She volunteers as an interpreter with various churches in the area as well.
